Logistics Research and Consulting

HLI finds its competitive advantage in the form of research and consulting in the field of logistics/supply chain management. HLI combines the best out of research and consulting for its customers in order to bring out an innovative concept that can be practically implemented. HLI bridges the gap between research and consulting by acting as a neutral partner between the technical and logistical partners of a supply chain. HLI’s own AutoID (specialized on RFID-UHF) research lab supports the smooth integration of research concepts into practical applications and forms a focal point for all stake holders involved in the deployment of AutoID in supply chains, by deriving standard methods when introducing AutoID in supply chains. HLI currently conducts a research project, funded by the city of Hamburg, addressing efficient materials logistics with RFID in various fields (e.g. maintenance materials availability) and has special interest in the windenergy sector for further cooperations.

Research and consulting in logistics/supply chain management and AutoID technology: Integration of RFID into offshore windenergy

What we offer

HLI combines research and consulting in the field of logistics/supply chain management and acts as a neutral partner between the technical and logistical partners of a supply chain.
HLI offers expertise in AutoID technology (specialized on RFID-UHF) and currently conducts a research project on efficient materials logistics, funded by the Hamburg ministry for economy, transport and innovation (BWVI), with the goal to develop and test RFID systems and integrate the technology into various fields such as firefighting trucks, humanitarian logistics as well as offshore windenergy (key words: maintenance materials availability, inventory monitoring, equipment fitness, equipment life).

What we are looking for

HLI is looking for contacts and companies from the offshore windenergy sector aiming at cooperations for our above mentioned research project on efficient materials logistics, funded by the Hamburg ministry for economy, transport and innovation (BWVI), with the goal to develop and test RFID systems and integrate the technology into offshore windenergy.
